Stream Deck

The LensLink Stream Deck plugin puts the camera controls on hardware keys and dials. Each key shows what the camera is doing right now, wherever the change came from: the app, the browser control panel or another key.

Installing it#

  1. Install the OBS plugin and keep OBS running on the same computer as the Stream Deck app (Stream Deck 7.1 or later, on Windows or macOS).
  2. Download cam.lenslink.streamdeck.streamDeckPlugin from the latest release and double-click it. Stream Deck installs it and adds a LensLink category to its action list.
  3. Drag actions onto keys or dials.

The plugin talks to the OBS plugin's control panel on localhost:9980, which is on by default. If you turned Browser control panel off in Tools → LensLink Settings, turn it back on. If you changed its port, enter the same number in any LensLink action's OBS port field; it applies to every action.

More than one phone#

Every action has a Source menu listing your LensLink Camera sources by name. First camera (the default) follows the first one OBS lists. Pick a source by name to tie a key to one phone, so a two-camera setup can have a row of keys per phone. Screen sources are left out, since they have no camera controls.

Without the plugin#

Anything that can send an HTTP request can drive the camera too, such as Bitfocus Companion or a script; the commands are listed under the HTTP API.
